What motivates young people, how do they view the world? As part of his series “We’re not like that!” writer Robert Schneider spoke with student Luca Hefel – a team player through and through.
“As a little child I preferred to just be outside; there were no game consoles in my house,” says 17-year-old Luca Hefel, who arrives just in time for the interview at Café Steinhauser in Dornbirn. He admits he’s a little excited. He’s never given a major interview. He is currently in seventh grade at the Dornbirn gym and has just recovered from a complicated heel injury he suffered during team gymnastics. During the preliminary interview he still used crutches.
