A 19-year-old driver fell 20 meters with a truck on Tuesday. The vehicle overturned.
The truck was loaded with gravel, which was driven on the Altfinkensteiner municipal road around 4.30 pm by a 19-year-old from the Villach-Land district. She drove too far up the shoulder of the road, soaked by the rain. The truck, belonging to a transport company, fell 20 meters and overturned. The vehicle then came to rest on its side in the adjacent wooded area.
Oncoming traffic who noticed the accident helped the young woman, who was wearing her seat belt, out of the truck and also alerted the emergency services. The driver received first aid from Villach’s rescue team and was taken to the LKH Villach. The truck, which was completely damaged, was recovered by the transport company.

After first medical aid, they were taken to the hospital Spittal an der Drau by the rescue service of Obervellach. The small truck was a total loss and was recovered by FF Flattach.
