Horrible industrial accident on Monday morning in the Tyrolean lowlands: a metal box weighing 200 kilograms fell on an employee of a company in Jenbach (Schwaz district). The woman was trapped and had to be freed by colleagues. She suffered serious injuries.
According to police, the woman was loading a 200-kilogram metal box onto a cart around 7:45 a.m. when the cart started rolling and the box fell on her.
Employee is stuck and screaming for help
“The 51-year-old was trapped in the lower body. She screamed for help and was eventually freed by two other employees, who then initiated the rescue chain,” the director reported.
Admitted to the clinic with rescue
The employee suffered serious injuries to her lower body and legs. After the first treatment, the 51-year-old was admitted to the clinic in Innsbruck.
