– BAC public sector strike: The 150,000 civil servants of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) are being called on to support a new day of strike this Tuesday, demanding, among other things, an improvement in their conditions. The unions ELA, LAB, CC.OO., ESK and Steilas, with 80% of the union representation in the sector, are the organizers of this new strike day, the third after those of October 25 and December 19.

Local police in Vitoria-Gasteiz arrested a 31-year-old man early Monday morning, accused of stabbing his partner in the thigh. Several phone calls from neighbors raised the alarm and the victim confirmed to the deployed officers that he had been stabbed by his partner.
