Serious traffic accident on Sunday evening in Lebring, Southern Styria: a 32-year-old drove her car into a bridge railing. An alcohol test was positive.
On Sunday around 7 p.m., the Lebring-St. called. Margarethen called about a traffic accident. A car crashed into the sidewalk railing of the Kiessnerweg railway underpass. The 32-year-old driver probably lost control of her vehicle due to excessive speed.
The car became so stuck in the railing of the bridge that the fire brigade had to cut through the railing with a power cutter. The driver and her passenger were injured in the accident. An alcohol test on the 32-year-old was positive. She will be reported to the Graz Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Leibnitz Public Prosecutor’s Office.
