She is said to have robbed the same gas station in Liezen twice. Last Sunday she even attacked the cashier with a knife – and has since been wanted for attempted murder. With success: the 20-year-old perpetrator was arrested by the Styrian police on Monday afternoon.
On Sunday morning she stormed the gas station in Liezen wearing a balaclava and armed with a knife. She demanded all the money and even went behind the cash register to her victim. After the cashier handed her the money, the perpetrator stabbed her several times. The 35-year-old suffered stab wounds and cuts, as well as severe shock, and was treated at the LKH Rottenmann.
It wasn’t her first attack
Similar scenes – slightly less violent – took place at the same gas station last September. As it now appears, it was the same perpetrator. Researchers from the Styrian State Police and criminal experts from the Liezen police discovered this after tips from the public and intensive research.
And so the 20-year-old with dark, long hair and a Styrian dialect was arrested near her apartment on Monday afternoon. The young woman from Liezen was carrying part of the loot with her when she was arrested.
Her apartment was then searched, during which officers were able to confiscate suspected clothing and several knives. The 20-year-old is now charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted murder.
