On Tuesday morning, a dispute between two Syrian 16-year-olds escalated in the room of a refugee accommodation in Hohenems. The two boys got into an argument over a pair of sneakers. The argument became intense, one of the two hit the other with his fists, and the argument moved from the room to the street.
One of the fighters suddenly pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed his opponent several times. The victim suffered injuries to his hip, abdomen and thigh as a result of the attack.
