Standing still on the tram tracks! Replacement rail services had to be set up in Linz early on Friday afternoon because a Linz AG Linien train was involved in an accident with a passer-by. The woman suffered unknown injuries.
About five trams queued up in the Bürgerstrasse/Landstrasse district of Linz city center shortly before 2 p.m. The reason: According to initial information, a tram and a passerby collided and the woman was injured to an unspecified degree.
However, public transport travelers did not have to wait long: a replacement rail service was quickly set up. After just 20 minutes, normal operations were resumed and all public transport in Linz is now running as planned again.
