Two cars collided head-on in Aurolzmünster (Upper Austria) on Monday afternoon. The occupant of one – a 23-year-old German – was unharmed. However, the two people in the other car had to be taken to hospital: a mother (31) and her three-year-old daughter.
The accident happened in a third car, driven by a 40-year-old woman from Innviertel. She wanted to turn left on the L 510 in Aurolzmünster on Monday afternoon. Directly behind her was a German (23) who, according to the police, was unable to brake in time and drove his vehicle to the left into oncoming traffic.
Cars are thrown into the field
The 23-year-old collided head-on with the car of the mother (31) from the Innviertel, in which her three-year-old daughter was also sitting. The collision threw both vehicles into the adjacent field.
Mother and daughter had to be taken to hospital after the accident. However, the 23-year-old survived the collision without injuries.
