Because three boys between the ages of 13 and 14 were talking louder, a 19-year-old allegedly picked up a knife on Danube Island on Sunday. The young man was arrested by the police and the knife was confiscated.
Because, in his opinion, the minors had spoken too loudly, the young man from Syria in the Georg-Danzer-Steg area eventually grabbed a knife and threatened them with it. Police officers from the Hermann-Bahr-Straße police station were able to arrest the suspect just a few meters from the scene of the crime.
Boys insulted 19 year olds
The 19-year-old’s knife was also seized (see photo). The suspected perpetrator has not made any confession. He did not threaten the boys, but was insulted by them. The young man received a complaint.
