Two cars collided in Radenthein, Carinthia, on Tuesday. One of the drivers drove an unregistered car and without a driver’s license. And if that wasn’t enough, after the crash he simply ran away with the support of his mother.
A 22-year-old from the Spittal district turned from Millstätter Straße into the main street in Radenthein on Tuesday. He collided with an unregistered car without a license plate, driven by a 42-year-old Slovenian.
Picked up by mother
Both drivers stopped immediately, but could not reach an agreement, after which the Slovenian drove to a nearby parking lot where he parked the car. “He got into the car as a passenger with his mother and they drove away together. The 22-year-old then called the police, who were able to arrest the mother and son a short time later in Afritz am See as part of a search that was started immediately,” the police said.
An alcohol test was carried out on both drivers involved, which showed that the 22-year-old was slightly drunk. The Slovenian, in turn, does not have a driver’s license. Both men were not allowed to continue their journey and are being reported.
