The ORF continues to restructure its information and announced new personnel decisions.
Irina Oberguggenberger becomes editor-in-chief of social media, Julia Ortner to the editor-in-chief of ORF.at, Matthias Schmelzer also to the editor-in-chief of radio news and current teletext Helene Voglreiter Appointed Editorial Manager TV News/Video/Verification. They will all start in their new roles on April 1.
Also the boss of ORF Topos Gerald Heidegger commissioned to devise special multimedia formats and online-only formats. General Manager ORF Roland Weissmann: “With their new impulses and highly committed teams, the four editorial managers will further perfect news production in the new, multimedia newsroom of the ORF.”
