An employment relationship in the Neusiel am See district did not end well. The case eventually ended up in court
An employee who worked at a company in the Neusiedl am See district did not receive a salary from his employer for six months. Not only that, the man was subsequently fired without notice. The employer simply ignored the statutory notice period. When the employee sought help from the Chamber of Labor, the employer went one step further: he claimed that the employee had caused damage amounting to more than 100,000 euros. That is why he is not willing to pay the outstanding salaries.
Successful in court
With the support of AK’s legal protection, the employee eventually went to court and sued for payment of his wages. However, the employer, whose company restores old vehicles, was unable to prove at the hearing that the employee caused the damage alleged by him. The judgment was therefore in favor of the employee, who could look forward to payment of the outstanding salaries. In total, the Chamber of Labor managed to raise 12,215 euros for the man.
