On Easter Saturday around lunchtime, a serious incident took place in the Kühtai ski area! An unknown skier rammed a German woman (59). She fell and was seriously injured. Police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
The 59-year-old German skier was on the red-marked slope No. 6 in the Kühtai ski area around noon. Near the “Kids Park” she was hit on the left by a previously unknown skier while turning right.
The woman fell and lay there for a short moment. Other winter sports enthusiasts noticed her and provided first aid. Despite a serious shoulder injury, she then climbed about 50 meters to the mountain station of the Wiesbergbahn and rode into the valley. According to police, she went there to see a doctor.
There is currently no trace of who caused the accident. He was wearing a purple top and gray pants.
