Immediately suspicious
“Armed” with a shovel, the 42-year-old forced the intruder into a tool shed on the property and guarded him until police arrived. Because the arrested man not only had two knives in his pocket, but also jewelry and a watch, apparently from another coup, investigators assumed that the thief was probably a serial perpetrator.
Intensive research has now confirmed the initial suspicion. Experienced specialists from the State Criminal Investigation Department – Oberwart were able to prove that Moldova had committed more than 40 other burglaries and thefts.
