Israel claims it has killed 200 militants and identified 500 members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, although Gaza’s health ministry reports 400 deaths across the area.
The Israeli army withdrew from Gaza City’s Al Shifa Hospital early on Monday, after a two-week siege of what is the largest medical complex in the Palestinian enclave, as confirmed by Palestinian sources in Gaza City.
Israeli forces, who launched the operation on March 18, claim to have killed about 200 suspected militants and identified 500 members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad after interrogating about 800 suspects.
However, Gaza’s Health Ministry indicated yesterday that the Israeli attack on the medical complex left at least 400 dead across the territory.
