On April 2, 3 and 4, Bizkaia Uber drivers are called on to strike due to “blocking” negotiations on the agreement.
Uber drivers in Bizkaia will strike for three days on April 2, 3 and 4 to try to unblock negotiations on the agreement, which expires on December 31, 2023.
As explained by the ELA union, after a year of meetings with the company to try to ensure that “minimum standards are respected” in the working conditions of employees, and to ensure that labor law is in some respects complied with, faced with the company’s refusal ‘over and over again’.
The union explains that negotiations have been “stalled” since the agreement expired in December 2023.
During the first day of the strike, Tuesday, a meeting will take place at 11 a.m. in Bilbao, together with the Basque government.
