Terrible accident Wednesday evening in St. Anton am Arlberg: A 25-year-old Norwegian climbed over a wall after visiting a bar and fell about 50 meters over rocky terrain. He was found on Wednesday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
The 25-year-old visited a restaurant in St. Anton with colleagues on Tuesday. While his companions left around 6 p.m., the man is believed to have stayed behind.
Man found dead
Hours later came the terrible discovery: around 1:20 p.m., the 25-year-old’s body was discovered under the restaurant in the area of the blue slope 50 in the St. Anton ski area.
According to initial investigations, the Norwegian may have climbed over a wall on the east side of the restaurant that was about 50 centimeters wide and one meter high. He then fell over a 50 meter sloping, rocky terrain and suffered fatal injuries.
