At least four people have been killed in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia as a result of Russian missile strikes. 13 other people had to be taken to hospitals, including some seriously injured.
This was announced on Friday by the governor of the region, Ivan Fedorov. At least 20 people were injured, including two journalists, according to the regional government. The women reported on the spot the consequences of the first rocket hits when the second attack followed. A total of five rockets were fired at targets in the city in two waves.
Civilian infrastructure was mainly affected and several residential buildings were damaged. Zaporizhia was already attacked by Russian combat drones last night.
Fighting in the East
Fighting is currently taking place near the eastern Ukrainian city of Khasiv Yar. The Ukrainian army said on Friday that Russian troops had not yet reached the outskirts. A quick conquest as a sign of the success of the Russian offensive.
