Daring climb on the facade
That’s why countless people stood on the balconies and in front of the windows calling for help. “Some people react in panic,” the professional fire brigade reported in a broadcast, and would like to jump into the depths. One of those affected even climbed from one balcony to another to get to safety.

They were brought to safety from the windows via the turntable ladders or by means of escape filter hoods via the stairwell. At the same time, the fire in the apartment, which was already threatening to spread to other apartments in the stairwell, was extinguished.
