The arrest of an Austrian who was caught with drugs in Bavaria has now led the Tyrolean police to the trail of three suspected accomplices of the 21-year-old. The young men are said to have hidden and resold drugs. Drugs worth 165,000 euros were found in an apartment.
In September 2023, German police in Bavaria arrested a 21-year-old Austrian on whom cannabis was found. The investigation into the case led the officers, in joint investigation with their Tyrolean colleagues, on the trail of another Austrian (20), who is suspected of being his accomplice.
Suspected accomplice caught in hotel
About six months after the first arrest, on March 5, investigators’ search efforts were finally successful: the 20-year-old was arrested in a hotel room in Innsbruck. The police found 16 grams of cocaine and a small amount of cannabis on him.
Kilos of drugs stashed in the apartment
But the investigation did not end there: the officers managed to investigate a so-called ‘drug bunker apartment’ in the capital, where they seized 16 kilos of cannabis, 120 grams of amphetamine and 400 ecstasy tablets with a street value of 165,000. euros.
According to police, the tenant of the apartment, a 22-year-old resident, may have hidden the drugs of the previously arrested 20-year-old and another accomplice, a 21-year-old Austrian, before reselling them. . The latter turned himself in to the police after a few days in the presence of his lawyer.

All three suspects refused to testify. She was placed in pre-trial detention.
