A motorcyclist was killed in a terrible traffic accident in the city of Salzburg on Monday evening. While overtaking he lost control of his vehicle.
Shortly after half past five on Monday evening, a 24-year-old Serb, living in Salzburg, tried to perform an overtaking maneuver on his motorcycle on Leopoldskronstrasse. According to police, while overtaking his motorcycle, he hit the edge of the sidewalk and lost control of his motorcycle.
Crashed into tree
The steering wheel then hit a tree. Witnesses and neighbors immediately provided first aid, but the 24-year-old died in the ambulance. The police rule out foul play.
