Ascension Squad – Russians now attacking with kamikaze motorcycles

Date:

Currently, videos are circulating on Russian propaganda channels showing Putin’s soldiers being sent on a veritable suicide mission: the attackers race on kamikaze-style motorcycles through the hail of bullets straight to Ukrainian positions and, according to their own statements, attack them.

One of the videos shows two motorcycles driving at high speed across a field near Luhansk in eastern Ukraine and stopping at the edge of a forest in front of Ukrainian positions. The clip, which the Russian “Zarya” battalion recorded itself, is then cut off. In this case, it is not clear how the daring venture ends.

Order of the ascension by artillery fire
In another video, distributed by the TV channel Russia 1, soldiers are heard bragging that with these suicide missions they would surprise the enemy in their positions by using enemy artillery fire – with one hand on the steering wheel, the weapon in the other.

According to these accounts, the Ukrainians did not even get involved in a fight, but instead fled.

Survival as a game of chance
The truth of these statements cannot be verified; Other photos also show motorcycles that have apparently been destroyed at the front. What is certain is that these are high-risk missions. An expert from the Oryx portal, which uses images and videos to count the number of war victims, speaks of a ‘gamble’ about whether you survive or not.

“It is a normal calculation to sacrifice protection for speed when deemed necessary, for example by reconnaissance or special operations forces,” the expert tweeted.

Attack on Ukraine with dozens of missiles and drones
Even with traditional means, bitter fighting continues in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia attacked on Thursday evening with more than forty missiles and more than forty drones. The target was critical infrastructure, Zelensky explained.

Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported attacks on electricity generation and distribution facilities in the Kharkov, Zaporizhia, Lviv and Kiev regions.
