An intensive police search was underway around the ZIB shopping center in the Salzburg district of Schallmoos on Friday evening. They were looking for three fugitives who allegedly stabbed someone with a knife.
According to eyewitnesses, wild scenes took place at the ZIB shopping center around 7 p.m. A person was attacked with a knife and stabbed by three unknown perpetrators.
The victim had to be taken to hospital under emergency medical care.
At the time of going to press, the emergency services also deployed a helicopter to track down the perpetrators who were still on the run.
The cause and exact course of the violent crime are currently still being investigated.
