The cowardly animal executioners fired at least one shot with an air pistol at a defenseless cat in Egg (Vorarlberg). The projectile penetrated the soft tissues and the four-legged friend required surgery. A second cat was injured in the hind leg.
In Egg, the police are looking for one or more trigger-happy animal abusers. As has only now become known, unknown people shot a four-legged friend with an air pistol between April 6 and 7. The veterinarian had to remove a projectile with a pointed head from the soft tissue of the animal.

At the same time, a second cat was injured nearby. The velvet paw suffered a gunshot wound to his right hind paw. The police assume that the animal was shot by the same perpetrators.
A similar case in Dornbirn
The shooting of cats with compressed air weapons does not appear to be an isolated case in Vorarlberg. Recently a tomcat was seriously injured in the center of Dornbirn. The animal did not survive the attack.
