What’s happening in our schools? As the “Steirekrone” has learned, two high school students are threatened with suspension after almost cracking each other’s skulls during a fight. One even pulled a knife. The students filmed with us.
Schoolyard fights used to be relatively harmless – usually a showdown between teenage classmates who later got along again. These days, fights are becoming more and more common – even if someone is on the ground, they still get kicked!
Brutal attacks
Incredible scenes like this happened a few days ago at a high school in the Styrian district. According to information from the “Steirekrone”, two young people got into an argument after class. One word led to the next, and then the fists flew. Classmates witnessed the brutal attacks. A day later, on April 12, the conflict between the two boys entered the school building.
One pushed the other, insulted him. Whereupon the other pulled out a knife in the middle of the class that he had hidden in his pocket. Before he could attack his opponent with the weapon, he struck him in the face several times.
Students filmed horror scenes
Only brave classmates managed to separate the two fighters. Others, on the other hand, did not even get involved, preferring to take out their mobile phones to film the wild brawl. “The fight and the knife are clearly visible in the videos,” said a statement from the school in question. The students were no longer allowed to attend classes after the incident and their parents were informed. The police were also called in. The brutalists are now threatened with suspension; a corresponding procedure has already been initiated.
