Things have been going on for weeks between power plant operator Verbund and a small part of the population of Kaprun. Shortly before Christmas, 13 Kaprun residents suddenly had water in their basement, and around the turn of the year it reached the highest level. In the middle of winter, groundwater had crept into the cellars. The suspicion: The association opened the sluices of the Kapruner Mooser and Wasserfallboden reservoirs, after which the water from the Kapruner Ache and the groundwater spread.
