Two Poles, aged 36 and 45, organized a fire and police operation in Innsbruck on Thursday evening. One of the suspects allegedly set a car on fire and the other attacked the police officers who intervened. Both were arrested.
Shortly after midnight, a car burst into flames in Dr.-Franz-Werner Street in Innsbruck. The alerted fire brigade was able to quickly bring the fire under control and extinguish it. There was significant damage to the car and the adjacent facade of the building.

During the police investigation on site, officers were eventually able to locate and confront two Polish men in the immediate area. “EThere was a suspicion of arson,” said the director.

Based on information from witnesses, the 45-year-old was eventually arrested as a suspect.
