For many people, passing the driving test is one of the most important moments in their lives. But even after that you continue in training: after passing the driving test, motorists have 3-9 months to complete the mandatory driving safety training, motorcyclists 2-12 months.
The training courses at ÖAMTC driving technology are given under the motto ‘learning through experience’, because every participant drives themselves and there are no passengers. If you do not have your own car, you can rent a modern rental car for a small fee.
“It is crucial that people new to driving experience critical driving situations as part of their driving safety training and realize the importance of speed selection and attention to road safety. Our spacious slopes with water obstacles and skid plates make this experience possible in a safe environment,” explains Karl-Martin Studener, Managing Director of ÖAMTC Fahrtechnik.
Perfect conditions
In the one-day driving safety training for driving license B, emergency braking and evasive maneuvers, cornering and correct behavior in a skidding car are trained. Automated irrigation systems, sliding surfaces, computer-controlled water obstacles and electronic speed measurement systems ensure optimal training conditions.
In the one-day driving safety training for motorcyclists, slalom driving, steering and vision techniques, braking exercises, handling training and evasive maneuvers are trained under the guidance of experienced instructors. And all on grippy asphalt, wide slopes and no oncoming traffic. After another two months, the motorcycle perfection test can be completed. This is a guided small group excursion on selected motorcycle routes. More information and booking options can be found HERE.
