A rear-end collision on the eastern highway (A4) in Göttlesbrunn-Arbesthal (Bruck ad Leitha district) claimed one life on Tuesday evening. A 33-year-old from the Neusiedl am See district was injured, the Lower Austria State Police Directorate said. A Hungarian was killed in the collision.
The place of the accident was the lane of the A4 towards Hungary. Although there was no help for the 41-year-old, the Burgenlander was treated by emergency services and stated that he was not injured, according to police.
Driver’s license taken away
The doctor determined that the 33-year-old was suffering from various symptoms and conducted a blood test. The man’s driver’s license was temporarily confiscated. According to police, the investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
