Saturday in the livestream – For Sparta! These ‘warriors’ also break down the cage

Date:

Everyone is ready, waiting for Magomed Ozniev’s order. Saturday 6 p.m., the time has come! The event boss then has his Spartans ‘tear down’ the cage again with crazy MMA action at Sparta 4 in the Schwechat multiverse. Krone+ subscribers (here our offers) can look forward to live and exclusively on krone.at! It’s not just in the main battles. In addition to a ‘founding father’, women are also participating in the successful series for the first time…

There is no doubt that the main fight between martial arts veterans Attila Ucar and Ico Cuk is guaranteed to be a highly anticipated spectacle.

All nines guarantee tension
Sparta 4 offers so much more on Saturday! A total of ten duels (see below) await PLUS subscribers, who were able to convince themselves of the qualities of matchmaker Renato Eni Kepi in the hay fighting “Sparta Royale” a few weeks ago.

While pure boxing rules applied in the ‘straw show’, hard cage clamps with punches, kicks and chokeholds are now the order of the day again. That pleases Muslim Danaev and Narges Mohseni. Both are passionate martial artists, both are now anchored in the MMA scene, both share a refugee past (their parents), both receive special attention in the Octagon at Sparta 4:

Muslim Danaev (26) came to Austria from Chechnya in 2003 and was housed in the Traiskirchen refugee camp. He and his family then ended up in Linz, Salzburg and finally Vienna. He loved martial arts and trainers discovered his talent, including for heavy cage fighting.

In recent years, Danaev has built the Sparta brand together with Magomed Ozniev. He himself – actually a trained office worker – is now the best testimonial as a cage professional. “Especially if something concrete happens with the UFC,” Danaev remains vague about his dream of joining the MMA Elite League. “Nothing is set in stone, you can’t say anything.”

The Viennese is keen to let actions speak for words, this time against Brazilian Allef Jordelly (5 win/1 loss) to earn his seventh victory in his seventh professional fight. “He’s more of a boxer, I want to knock him out while he’s standing,” trumpets the welterweight. He is happy that the Sparta community is gradually expanding. Including the appearance of the next fighter…

Narges Mohseni (33) was born in Vienna, but her parents had fled Iran. Eight years of military service was enough for the father, who wanted to protect the family. Like Danaev, they ended up in Traiskirchen and later moved into an apartment in Mödling. In his home country, father Mohseni, a judo trainer, inspired little Narges to take up martial arts at an early age. “I started when I was seven.” The passion for it has remained…

The birth of her daughter in 2020 forced Narges to take a break, but the hunger to fight returned. Jiu-Jitsu training (“To get fit again”) led to his entry into MMA. Also thanks to Sparta ‘matchmaker’ Renato: “He wanted to manage a woman and saw a lot of potential in me,” says the full-time police officer, who won bronze in judo at the 2019 European Police Championship.

In the first Sparta women’s fight, Mohseni now faces the Italian Emanuela Scioli. While the local hero has a balanced 1:1 winning record among amateurs, her opponent has already lost four times in five amateur fights. Feasible, although Narges does not care much about the names and data of her opponents: “If so, then I look at their technology,” emphasizes the “warrior” with the battle name “Xerxes”, who does not believe in it in any way wise demonization of opponents. “I don’t see any enemies because they do the same as me, they also chase their dreams. And whether I like someone or not doesn’t matter in the end.”

Substitute for the Vienna Derby
One of the highlights of the evening would be the Viennese derby between Austrian Rafael Tupy and Rapid player Patrick Rainer. Although the green and white had to withdraw due to an injury, there is an opponent ready for Tupy: Mihajlo Rajic! The 26-year-old Serbian is only 170cm tall and last fought in December last year. His record so far is manageable: three wins and 17 losses.
