When a Russian farmer recently heard barking in his pasture, he used his drone to control several dogs that were attacking a calf. The farmer responded smartly.
Sergey Eliseev from Petropavlovka in Buryatine, an autonomous republic on Russia’s border with Mongolia, captured on video (above) the dramatic scenes showing how he attacked the aggressive dogs with the drone to save the calf.
By maneuvering the drone sharply to amplify the aircraft noise, he eventually managed to scare the dogs away. Although the calf initially appeared motionless and possibly injured, it eventually regained its strength.
After the dogs were chased away, Eliseev was able to calm the shocked calf. The young cattle, which were unharmed in the attack, then returned to the village.
