Wild scenes may have taken place on Saturday evening in front of a Tyrolean restaurant in the Ötztal-Bahnhof (Imst district). Previously unknown perpetrators ran over a German (36) with a golf cart and also hit a local woman (19). The police are now looking for witnesses.
The wild spectacle probably started around 1:10 am on Saturday. There, previously unknown perpetrators made unauthorized use of a golf cart in a parking lot at an event area in the Ötztal-Bahnhof. They circled around there with the electric vehicle and moments later they ended up in a group of people standing in front of a bar.
Man rolled over, woman hit
They hit and ran over a 36-year-old German. A 19-year-old local woman was also hit. Both were taken to hospital in Zams by rescue with significant injuries.
The unknown persons – according to the police there were four to five people – then fled in a car. Police are now asking witnesses to the incident to come forward.
