Right now everyone is taking advantage of the newfound freedom to celebrate! This was also the case during the alignment meeting in Hofkirchen an der Trattnach in Upper Austria. There were far more than the expected 200 visitors and it escalated to the point that the police became a “party crasher”.
The meeting of the screwdrivers and hobbyists was held by a group in Hofkirchen an der Trattnach on the company premises. The organizers expected about 200 people to attend the event. The event was published on a social network and there were also about 200 pledges.
However, there were many more visitors than expected. Over the course of the evening, the event then took on excesses beyond the control of the organizers. Police reported that illegal street racing, as well as “burnouts and donuts” had been conducted on the B141 in the vicinity of the industrial estate.
Event organizers finally ended the event around 11:15 PM after police showed up. Now it is being checked whether the meeting was legal at all and to what extent the modifications to the cars were registered and allowed – and who took part in the street races.
