A man (48) in Vienna-Favoriten allegedly threatened to kill his 44-year-old partner and a neighbor on Saturday evening. He then dragged his girlfriend to his own apartment and sexually assaulted her. The victim allegedly pulled the knife and seriously injured the Bosnian.
The woman’s two children were also present at the terrible scenes that took place in a residential building in Favoriten on Saturday around 8:05 p.m.
The woman defended herself with a knife
According to police, the Austrian woman said she used a knife against the 48-year-old during the attack. She then fled the apartment.
The alerted police officers then found the man seriously injured and he was arrested. He and the victim were taken to hospital by ambulance. The suspect was also said to have been drunk during the incident.
Children picked up by relatives
“The children were picked up by relatives and child and youth care was informed about the incident,” said police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger.
