At the age of 14, Caspar Gabriel left home to play rugby in Ireland. The now 18-year-old has since become one of the top talents in the playmaker position, became a sought-after stock and has already played for the Irish national team under 19. He was born in Vienna and subordinates everything to his dream of becoming a rugby professional and cycles even in rainy Irish weather.
During a youth rugby tournament in Ireland four years ago, some coaches there were informed of a then 14-year-old Viennese boy. Caspar Gabriel impressed them with his talent.
