As has only now become known, a 20-year-old and several people ambushed an acquaintance of his ex-girlfriend in Klagenfurt last Wednesday. The group surrounded the 18-year-old’s car and hit it. A witness noticed the incident and is now wanted by the police.
On Wednesday evening, a 19-year-old spoke via an online messenger with the 18-year-old, also from Klagenfurt, about a previous relationship dispute with her ex-boyfriend. The two then agreed to meet at Dr.-Richard-Canaval-Gasse around 7:30 p.m. “The young woman’s ex-boyfriend heard about this plan and then wanted to meet with the 18-year-old to clarify the matter,” police said.
Car surrounded and hit
When the 18-year-old arrived at the agreed meeting point, he saw several people approaching the vehicle from the car. “They surrounded the car, prevented the man from Klagenfurt from continuing his journey and hit the vehicle with full force. “The man then slowly drove forward, pushed one of the people away slightly and was then able to escape,” said an officer.
A search was immediately launched, which was successful. All those involved – they are between 15 and 20 years old – were arrested and taken to the Pischeldorfer Straße police station.

A passerby with a small white dog, possibly a Chihuahua or Maltese according to police, was walking near the bus stop across from the Progress Center when the incident occurred on Dr. Richard Canaval Alley and may have observed something .
