Night operation for the fire brigade in Hadersdorf (Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district): A cat fell from a second floor window onto a snow catcher and could not move forward or backward. The velvet paw was rescued with the help of a ladder and handed over to its lucky owner.
It is not known how the accident happened, but the fire brigade announced that the multi-colored tomcat had accidentally fallen from the window of an apartment building onto a grid edge (a so-called snow catcher).
The animal could not free itself without outside help. A firefighter climbed up to the cat using a ladder and was able to rescue it from this unfortunate situation safely and unharmed. 15 men from the FF Hadersdorf were on a relief mission.
