Shortly after midnight on May 1, fists flew at a disco party in the Sommerholz district of Neumarkt: a 16-year-old from Eugendorf apparently punched an 18-year-old for no reason.
According to the police, the 18-year-old from Oberndorf had visited the toilet. As he left, he was punched by the 16-year-old attacker. The victim of the violence had to be cared for by the Red Cross. The ambulance crew then took him to the hospital in Salzburg. Meanwhile, the attacker was stopped and identified by a security guard. But before police arrived, the 16-year-old ran away. He is reportedly at large.
Brawl at the Rauris May Festival
Around the same time, fists also flew in Rauris: two visitors to a May festival, both locals (31, 27), got into an argument. The younger man hit the older man with his fists: in the head and in the face, police said. The rescue team took the injured man to the hospital and the attacker was reported.
