Serious traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon in the Tyrolean city of Ausserfern: a German motorcyclist hit a car in front of her while overtaking. The 58-year-old fell and was thrown onto the street.
The accident took place at around 1:45 p.m. at L255 Planseestrasse in the municipality of Breitenwang. According to police, the German woman collided with the bumper of a car traveling in the same direction while her motorcycle was overtaking.
The woman was left lying injured on the street
The 58-year-old was thrown from the motorcycle by the impact. She slid about five to ten meters on the asphalt and then lay injured on the road.
Rescued to hospital
After initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to the Reutte district hospital.
