A 26-year-old was seriously injured with a knife in the Lend district of Graz on Tuesday evening. The rescue operation took the man to the LKH Graz, where he had to undergo emergency surgery.
Around 2:20 a.m. there was a verbal and physical altercation in the Volksgarten Park in Graz between a Somali (26) living in Graz and an unknown man.
The unknown perpetrator stabbed the Somali man with a knife and hit him in the stomach. The suspect then fled on foot towards Annenstrasse. The rescue operation brought the Somali man to the LKH-Graz with life-threatening injuries. There he had to undergo emergency surgery. His condition is now stable.

According to the victim’s description, the unknown man is about 40 years old and 6 feet tall. He has blond hair in a bun and was wearing a black jacket.
