A serious traffic accident occurred on the Inntal highway in the lowlands on Friday. A driver ended up in dense vegetation for an unknown reason and the fire brigade had to rescue him.
The 42-year-old man was driving a car on the A12 from Kufstein towards Innsbruck around 11:05 am. In the municipality of Langkampfen, his BMW went over the right edge of the road for an unknown reason and drove through the green area into the bushes, where he collided with a tree.
Stuck in the car
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be rescued from the vehicle by the Kufstein fire brigade and the rescue team. The driver was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Kufstein Hospital after first aid.
