San Sebastián tops the list of municipalities with the most VT. The majority of the 1,286 homes are concentrated in the Center, Gros and Parte Vieja. In the case of Bilbao there are 938, mainly in the Siete Calles.
The Capitals, also the most populated municipalities, occupy the first positions in the list with the number of tourist homes, and these are concentrated in a specific space in each of these municipalities. They assume a third of the tourism sector: one in three places of accommodation for tourists is a VT, and almost half are in one of the capitals of Hego Euskal Herria: 48%.
Vitoria-Gasteiz contributes very little as the vast majority of them participate Saint Sebastian, Bilbao And Pamplona. These are concentrated in certain neighborhoods, which are always in the center of the cities, correspond to the historical part and also house the main tourist attractions.
San Sebastián, despite not being the most populous city, is the one with the most VT: 1286. The majority are in the Centre (448), followed by Course (261) and the Old part (120). Together with the tourist houses of Antiguo and Amara, these neighborhoods represent 77.6% of the total VT in the capital Gipuzkoa.
Bilbao is the second municipality with the most tourist homes: 938. The majority are located in the Seven streets or in the neighborhood Ibaiondo (2612), followed by Abando and Indautxu (202). Uribarri, Begoña and Deustu-Ibarrekolanda complete the list, accounting for 83% of tourist properties.
Pamplona has 563 registered VTs, although it does not provide information by neighborhood. The case of Vitoria-Gasteiz stands out for the smaller number of tourist homes compared to other capitals. It has only 88, after the coastal municipalities of Bermeo (235), Zarautz (209), Hondarribia (165) and Getxo (160).
