Still in quarantine – 34 puppies were discovered during a border control

Date:

The puppies are still in quarantine and are being cared for with love. The 34 small dogs were supposed to be smuggled from Italy to Carinthia, but were discovered by customs at the border on April 24.

The dogs were not vaccinated; two had no chip and no vaccination certificate. More than half of the puppies were under eight weeks old, meaning they were separated from their mothers too early.

The little beings of different races were in poor health. Four of them are now in transport boxes, receiving medical care, are still in quarantine and therefore cannot be viewed or selected for home.

As soon as they are released for adoption, the Carinthian Animal Welfare Association in Villach will publish this.
