While a dog owner from Eastern Styria went on holiday, she left her three animals to their terrible fate. The husky and the two Rottweilers (two females and one male) were kept in separate rooms without proper care.
Dogs desperately tried to open doors
The conditions on site were devastating: stinking feces everywhere, the closed doors completely scratched by the desperate animals. The food has been eaten for a long time.
The Arche animal rescuers thank the authorities, who took immediate action with the emergency service, and the assistance dog inspection, who secured the dogs with great patience and loving expertise. Only through quick intervention and action can much worse things be prevented.
The animals are now well cared for
The dogs are doing well considering the circumstances, but they are very scared and very thin, Active Animal Welfare said in a press release. The three received medical attention and are now being treated.
