A 38-year-old Latvian citizen was arrested in Tyrol after being suspected of setting a fire in the underground car park of Klosterneuburg Abbey. The man denied the allegations and claimed he could not remember the actions due to excessive alcohol consumption.
The fire, which broke out on April 15, caused damage of up to 600,000 euros. Eleven fire brigades with approximately 150 men were deployed to extinguish the fire. Five people were taken to hospital for treatment.
