Geosphere Austria predicted on Thursday that sunny weather would prevail again in the evening. Early temperatures of three to ten degrees and daily highs of 17 to 22 degrees can be expected.
Unstable, but it stays dry
After a sunny start, extensive cloud fields will pass by on Saturday, especially over the eastern half, again without precipitation. In the west the sun dominates next to flat, clustered clouds. There will be a light to moderate wind blowing from the north, with early temperatures of four to ten degrees and daytime highs of 17 to 23 degrees.
Thunderstorms on Mother’s Day
On Sunday – Mother’s Day – the sun shines quite often. From later in the morning, more and more cumulus clouds will form, followed by some partly thunderstorms, especially over the eastern half. From the late afternoon the showers become less frequent and the clouds become less. During the day, a maximum of 25 degrees is possible.
The start of the week remains unstable
Monday will be at least partly sunny until later in the morning. Many cluster clouds will then form, followed by some rain showers and local thunderstorms, especially in the west, south and southeast. Daily maximum temperatures can still reach 25 degrees.
A maximum of 27 degrees possible on Tuesday
Clouds and sunny periods will alternate over the western half of Austria on Tuesday. Showers or thunderstorms should be planned throughout the day, most in the afternoon. Further east, at least temporary sunshine is on the agenda and it will remain mainly dry. Minimum temperatures are five to 13 degrees, daily maximum temperatures are 18 to 27 degrees.
