Several activists went to the NIX hotel and displayed a banner reading “Bilbo Palestinerkein. Hiri anti-Zionist. Israeli boyota.”
Six people today climbed onto the facade of the Nix hotel in Bilbao’s Arenal and displayed a pro-Palestinian banner reading “Bilbo Palestinerkein. Hiri anti-Zionist. Israeli boyota.”
The NIX hotel is known in the city for Israel’s capital, and numerous protests have been held in front of its facade.
In a statement from the activists, they said that dozens of people have joined the protest on the streets in favor of the Palestinian people and against Israel.
In the pamphlet they distributed, they denounced that the city council had not approved a motion in favor of Palestine, and that “the city is full of Zionist interests“.
The activists also wanted to commemorate the commemoration Nakba on May 15, and asked “political, institutional and academic institutions to sever relations with the Zionist regime.”
Likewise, they have called for participation in all mobilizations in favor of Palestine.
Just today the movement called Gernika Palestine meets in many places in favor of Palestine and against the genocide.
