Big scare early in the morning: an alleged constrictor snake called the police to the scene in the German city of Wiesbaden on Sunday.
A frightened man called 911 in the early morning hours of a supermarket parking lot, security forces said. The 25-year-old reportedly said a constrictor snake about 150 centimeters long was lying on the ground, staring at him with wide eyes in the twilight.
The police officers initially saw the same image, until they took a closer look: the alleged snake turned out to be a stuffed animal. “The large constrictor was immediately captured and held safely,” police wrote in their statement. And added that the population was never in danger.
