When it comes to acceleration and the number of overtaking maneuvers, Formula E even makes Formula 1 look old. This year the electro spectacle is celebrating its tenth anniversary, the “Krone” was – just like the German cult family “Die Geissens” – present live at the anniversary in Berlin.
A “half” Austrian
The Formula E electric racing series is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. With faster (maximum speed 320 km/h!), lighter and more durable cars than ever before. And with a driver field that is peppered with ex-Formula 1 drivers such as Pascal Wehrlein, Lucas di Grassi, Jean-Eric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne. Maximilian Günther (who drives to Germany) is also at least “half” Austrian, the mother is from the Kleinwalsertal.
